Welcome to the Sudbury Pet Dog Training Club Web site.
We train every Wednesday evening at Great Waldingfield Village Hall
We offer four levels of Training (Puppies through to Advanced), plus the Good Citizen Scheme and Agility.
Our aim is to give you an insight to Sudbury Pet Dog Training Club (S.P.D.T.C. ).
•To show how the club functions, what it does.
• To demonstrate the training methods.
• To encourage responsible Dog Citizenship with the Good Dog Citizen Scheme.
• To illustrate the Fun events and Public displays we provide.
About Us
Sudbury Pet Dog Training Club was first established in 1962 and since then has seen
many dogs come and go and many changes in training methods
Nowadays, Sudbury Pet Dog
Training Club meets every Wednesday evening at the village hall in Great Waldingfield
near Sudbury. Dogs of all shapes and sizes together with their owners go through
fun and exciting, proven training exercises and techniques using reward based learning
methods. Not harsh, negative dog training methods.
Our Aims
After dogs have completed training courses with us, we hope that they will be well
socialised, well balanced and well behaved.
In turn, owners will hopefully have a dog
they can be confident will interact with people and other dogs, they will know what
their responsibilities are to their pet and most ,they will have a dog who is healthy,
happy and whom they can control properly and appropriately.
